Shipping policy
Packaging
To reduce single-use plastics, we now use paper or card only in our packaging, compostable bubble wrap where needed and recycled postage bags. We of course still need to use packaging to protect products travelling to you, but if you can re-use as much as possible (including the pizza boxes plates are sent in!) you’ll be helping the recycling chain.
Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, or Maestro card payments via Shopify payments. This is a secure payment processor and we don’t hold any payment information on our website.
Order Turnaround
We aim to dispatch orders within 1 business days – this can be longer during busy sale periods. Orders being sent to a UK address are usually delivered within 1 working days, but international orders can take up to two weeks to be delivered – please allow up to 3-4 weeks in transit to be safe.
International orders
International orders are shipped with DHL on a tracked service and Royal Mail
You will be required to sign for your package (where the service is available). If no one is available to provide a signature, a delivery card will be left at your address.
Please take care to enter your delivery address correctly as we cannot be held responsible for any undelivered parcels or parcels delayed in transit due to incorrect address details being provided to us.
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight and value of your order.
**Please note – due to an increased Emergency Situation Surcharge (ESS) from our courier, we have had to temporarily increase our shipping costs
Duties & Taxes
Please note that if your order is being shipped outside of the UK, it is subject to duties and import taxes which are the responsibility of the customer to pay. You will be billed directly by the customs office of the destination country. Because the UK has sadly now left the EU, this now applies to orders shipping to countries in the European Union.
For this reason, VAT (at 20%) will be deducted from our standard (inc VAT) prices on orders shipping outside the UK.
Lost/Missing Parcels
Please notify us within 21 days if you believe your order may have been lost in transit and we can investigate with our carriers to locate the order and/or replace any lost items. Please email us with your order reference at hello@jimbobart.com
